Two quick links on Cognitive Load Theory I've been fielding lots of questions lately about Cognitive Load Theory. Here are two quick links that may be useful. First is an article talking about the practical implications of CLT on the design of learning. The second are some "recent" (as of 2003) developments regarding CLT. Happy reading! Practical advice on kids and Android app development After hearing about my students' success developing an Android app, I've gotten several emails asking for more details as to how I practically worked with my kids. Site changes…

Category : General

I wanted to draw your attention to some changes to the site’s look and feel since it’s inception a short while ago. First, it’s worth noting that my blog has its own Discussion Board where we can all chat about Open Source and how wonderful it is or any challenges you may be facing. Also you will notice the smooth voting poll on the right side, which does not refresh the entire page when you vote or view the results. I have also “claimed” my blog through technorati and have the obligatory blogs that link here link for all to see. It’s tragically empty. :(

I will be posting soon about new open source ideas and resources, so check back often, or better yet, subscribe to the feed! Oh, and the podcast is Apple iTunes approved!
