As I sat and looked at each picture and read the words, I thought how lucky I am to have a wonderful, healthy 9 year old son. What a brave young boy and a loving, brave mother. With 3 boys under the age of 5 I cannot imagine living life each day as if it were my last. But that is exactly what we are told to do. Live each day to the fullest, as if it were our last. Hold your children close to your heart and surround them with kisses. I know I don't do that enough. How about you? I am at such a loss for words!!! Multiply this case by, what? Hundreds of thousands? Millions? Mums and dads with young children seriously ill or handicapped? Doing their acts of unsung heroism daily? At least Derek has medication and access to good medical care. Many do not. Now, folks, after seeing that prize-winning slideshow, can I interest you guys in a war? You know, we're gonna "shock and awe" them suckers (whoever they are). It's gonna be awesome. Anybody? No? No?? You wimps!
