Two quick links on Cognitive Load Theory I've been fielding lots of questions lately about Cognitive Load Theory. Here are two quick links that may be useful. First is an article talking about the practical implications of CLT on the design of learning. The second are some "recent" (as of 2003) developments regarding CLT. Happy reading! Update: I clarified the second...

Practical advice on kids and Android app development After hearing about my students' success developing an Android app, I've gotten several emails asking for more details as to how I practically worked with my kids. Firefox plugins, which ones do you use?

Category : General

So I was readin’ my boy Steve’s firefox setup. I guess I coulda gone and posted all of mine with sweet links like he did, but I’m feeling a bit lazy this morning. So here is a screenshot…obviously you can go to the plugins page and search for any of them.

I highly recommend Better Gmail, it does wonders for the gmail experience. FireFTP is amazing as well, and if I want to try out Configuration Mania (it takes all of the about:config stuff and makes it accessible) I might oughta restart.

So here’s my lazy blog post, not linkbait, but hey.

What’s in your browser?

My # 1 Firefox plugin — the TIMETRACKER………nice little icon that sits on the bottom right of my screen and reminds me how long I have been on the internet.

Now — if they had a zapper built into my chair that reminded me when to get up and move — that would be my #1 plugin.

I also have the delicious plugin, the google toolbar for Firefox, I/E View, and Stumbleupon.

A small list compared to yours.
