I found out there’s a Starbucks within walking distance of my apartment. Happy days!
So here I sit with a hot beverage (it’s cold here, remember?!) and an ok internet connection.
Oh yeah, and I’ve got a book I’m dying to finish.

Incidentally, one thing that is interesting it hearing all the folks speaking Spanish. The conversations are no different than what you’d encounter in any other Starbucks in the USA, which says something for cultural differences or the lack thereof.

Funny you should mention Starbucks. I took my wife and son out last Saturday, if I didn’t know where you were in the world, a long, long way from Napier in New Zealand I could swear I’d taken that photo last weekend…. It is EXACTLY the same!
