You may recall that I was posting while in Peru about a new project that was in the design phase. It still is, but I am much closer to “launch”. I’ve already got interest from several teachers in several countries, and the nice thing about this project is that it is designed to allow as many folks as want to participate. In other words, it’s scalable.
To be eligible, you’d need to have students from 10-13 years old, with the target age of 11-12 (US 6th grade) and be interested in digital storytelling.
Sound like you? Leave a comment on this post and I will get in touch and tell you more!
Just curious? More details to come as I get some more input during the planning process…
Lynne Crowe says:
Hi Chris
Yes I am interested. We haven’t done anything on digital storytelling yet but it is one of my goals for this year! This will be the push I need to achieve that. I have Year 7 & 8 students (ages 11 – 13).

Hi Chris,
I’d be very interested in this. I’ll have a class of year 7 pupils in Wales, UK on a competency curriculum and this would fit in really nicely with one of my aims to try and connect them (and me) with the outside world!
Cheers,
Dave

Greetings Chris,
I work with a wonderful group of 18 gifted fifth graders between two schools. We have done a few digital storytelling projects. Now we would like to raise the bar and reach out beyond our comfort zones by making world connections.
Warmly,

Hi Chris!
After taking a year away from the classroom to work as an Instructional Tech Facilitator at the elementary level, I missed the kids and am back in the classroom. I teach science and math to 50-60 6th graders on a two-teacher team. I would be interested in hearing more about the project, and whether it has integration possibilities in science!

Not sure how well I could implement it since I’m still an itinerant, but digital storytelling is right up my alley and I’ve got 3 schools worth of 6th graders to pick from.
