Two quick links on Cognitive Load Theory I've been fielding lots of questions lately about Cognitive Load Theory. Here are two quick links that may be useful. First is an article talking about the practical implications of CLT on the design of learning. The second are some "recent" (as of 2003) developments regarding CLT. Happy reading! Update: I clarified the second...

Google Ads – but only for the search engine folks and a few others

Category : General

I’ve been placing Google ads on the site. Hopefully, you won’t even see them.

You see, I get a lot of search engine traffic for a few posts some time ago. Why not try to recoup some of the hosting costs?

Using Planet Ozh’s masterful plugin, Who Sees Ads, theoretically none of you should see the ads when you visit the site, and they should only show up for folks who come from a search engine or on posts that are over 30 days old.

Please let me know if it’s not working (that means visit the site so you can see if they’re there!!) so I can fix it or ditch the entire experiment.

More power to you. You should (at the very least) be able to pay your hosting fees.

Good luck.

Yes I saw them they are very unobtrusive. Make some moolah to pay for your site. We are watching. Let me know if it will pay for me a space if I invest.

PS Im mad because I just noticed my friend Val (Library Goddess) has made your blog roll, but NOT me? This is grounds for removing you from mine!! ??? : D

I didn’t see any ads.
