    Your cross-cultural work with 6th graders is exciting. There are so many projects I can
    think of doing with my reading classes if we had any access to this level of technology.
    I teach inner-city kids in Tampa. Have there been any discussions on your blog about
    “the digital divide?”

    Hi Joyce,

    Thanks for stopping by!

    I’ve not thought much about the digital divide, to be honest. I’ve found that most of my students are able to grasp the programs we use fairly quickly, as they are intuitive to use. That, and kids help each other.

    I am familiar with the concept, and am a big fan of the Hole in the Wall projects in India where kids seemed to leap that metaphorical divide.
